Recently moved from Melbourne, Australia to Friedrichsdorf, Deutschland. Did we make a mistake? Are we having fun? What are those crazy Germans up to now? All this and more will be covered in this blog.

Merry Xmas & Happy New Year!
WirwünscheneuchschönefröhlicheWeihnachten, gutenRutsch, und ein gutes neues Jahr!
Hey you guy - Merry Christmas to the both of you; hope you had a "White" Christmas as we had another stinker down here (ok the day wasn't that hot but it has been since then!)
Also hope whatever Santa is called there (Saint Nick?!) he brought you lots of presents that didn't look like Carp... or mufflers ;-)
Matty - True "Rutsch" means slide, but it is also used to mean a good new year, but only in the lead-up to New Year. After then you use "glückliches neues Jahr".
J-Man - Hope you had a great Xmas in Chicago!
GkT - No mufflers or Carp for us. Belinda did eat some kind of fish on Xmas eve, but it wasn't carp.
