I hear that it is around 40°C in Australia at the moment. So, to help you cool down a little, here are a few pics that we took while out for a walk this afternoon...it was around -4°C.
Searched for this little hut in the park forever. We were planning to have a cup of tea in the hut, but it took too long to find it, so we drank our tea elsewhere. We finally found it on our way home.

This is where we drank our tea instead. Looked like a Munchkin Christmas Tree plantation. And look! There's a Munchkin in the trees now!

In melb it made it to 42.9 at 5pm. We couldn't get outside for our NYE BBQ until 9pm because it was still too hot.
Take a look at Age article about it.
We even remember somewhere around 11pm going "is it just me or did the wind just get hotter!"

The Great Hunt for the My Little Pony Show Bag. Picture an ADORABLE little blonde girl searching desperately at the Geelong Show for the 'must-have' show bag of the year all day long to no avail.... and after she finally purchased something completely unsatisfying and second rate; stumbled apon the much sought after My Little Pony Show Bag. And the adorable little blonde girl had already reached her two Show Bag limit enforced by her EVIL parents.
There was crying. There was heartbreak.
And NO I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.
