Recently moved from Melbourne, Australia to Friedrichsdorf, Deutschland. Did we make a mistake? Are we having fun? What are those crazy Germans up to now? All this and more will be covered in this blog.

I HAVE A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well assuming I am given a work permit I do. WV offered me the job today!!
Still don't know what my portfolio is, i think they are reorganising everyone's as there are a few new staff coming on. The role was adertised for Aisa and Africa, so it could be anywhere... (In case others can't tell Kate works in my field)
And yes I am very happy. I was worried it would take me much longer to get something, and to get something that is actually what I would have wanted in Aus is very exciting.

In germany you need a job offer and then they give u a permit. The company has to proove that it was necessary to employ a foreigner though.
It is a 'Projektbetreuerin' role which is like a project assistant role in Aus, but with travel and stuff. I should have at least 2 trips per year.
Congrats!
Thats great B. Happy for you!
Should I assume from the ENORMOUS font that you are pretty pleased?
Excellent. So pleased for you. Will give you a call and have a chat. LOL Margaret
